I waited a while to see this. I had a chance once--it was in Los Angeles at the end of my book tour for Sky Blue. I only saw the opening minutes before falling asleep. I've heard a lot of this soundtrack and have seen bits and pieces of the film, but I finally saw it all. And I adored it. In a thousand ways. It's simple the way an elderly woman at the checkout counter is simple. It's got such a wealth of material in it. And for an author and creative soul like myself, it was absolutely beautiful. It felt like drinking a pint by the fire on a cold winter's night. That's exactly what it was. It moved me and let go of some of the emotions I've been holding back for sometime.
